Wonderful and safe cloud data warehouse
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake is a cloud data warehouse that is praised for its potential to sustain multi-cloud architecture setups, and is amongst the most widely used data systems that are modifiable, scalable, as well as safe. Snowflake is in charge of big data management, safety, and protection. It leverages ANSI SQL to enable us easily save, organize, and process our data and manage our infrastructure.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Like other platforms, it doesn't take a long time to upload RAW, big files which I found best in this big data platform. Even its low-cost plan includes limitless storage, which is exactly what I require! The plan options are also suitable for our organization and meet our budget plans. It offers a central place for data science, data management, storage, and data engineering.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is wonderful, but its administration and configuration are overly complicated, and some administrative functions are missing. In addition to running cursors, it is not possible to perform bulk changes, more complex querying, and table construction on the fly. There also must be some capability for Exception Clustering and similar stuff.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Choosing a data platform that can manage enormous amounts of big data, as well as fast speeds and dependability is critical. Snowflake has all of the features to be a fantastic fit for any enterprise, while also providing ease of use so that anyone can master it in less time and begin working on it right away.
Pros
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service

Fantastic data warehouse solution

What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake offers virtual warehouses that enable dependable scaling, whereas others become unstable; and also offers first-rate JSON support. Snowflake has reduced data warehouse administration from a nightmare to nearly nothing. We're continuing to scale our data and analytics, and Snowflake is up to the task.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love this warehouse which is mostly used in the DML statement. So it decides whether to use the warehouse or not, which is a great way to save money. Snowflake also comes with built-in user security features, which was a significant plus for us. SnowSQL has a lot of useful functions, and the documentation is quite well written.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Using Snowflake necessitates some level of technical knowledge that not all members of a company may have. Furthermore, there is no support for local development testing, and unit tests to check application functionality that connects with Snowflake are difficult to construct. The documentation for functions is frequently confusingly phrased and lacks examples.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When it comes to validating information trails of consumers, you will find it comprehensive, focused, and easier to look further into client information. It is simply a game-changer in the market, with the lowest price and very minor drawbacks when compared to others. You must test it initially for your business needs and then make any decision.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Saves Time
