What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake's ability to manage a data warehouse and as a comprehensive SaaS data and analytics platform impresses. It queries and loads data quickly and is excellent with unstructured data. It excels at data analysis that consolidates and stores information inexpensively. It maintains a low-cost profile by automatically resuming and suspending virtual warehouses. In terms of upkeep, Snowflake triumphs over AWS Redshift. Almost no admin work to do—everything is taken care of for us. It is a valuable tool compared to similar programs because of many things, but we can alter the size of a warehouse or add clusters without interruption to service.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Snowflake aggregates cloud and platform databases into one warehouse. Elastic computing is a prominent feature, and the pay-per-use model optimizes budgets. It provides role-based security for databases and data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Snowflake should provide more detailed and broken-down queries for complex functions. The web UI editor lacks search-and-replace and automatic prediction. Some out-of-the-box integration options should be available to pull and push data to central CRM, ERP, and data warehousing tools. It will make things simpler. Snowflake's syntax and example code can be confusing.
