What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack has recently introduced generative AI ( artificial intelligence ) into my Slack experience. Through the AI (artificial intelligence ) Slack add-on , we are able to get a lot of actions done faster on the platform. I can search through past conversations faster and more accurately. Conversations on Slack channels can now be summarized and I can even initiate recaps of Channels I am not actively engaged with but will like to keep tabs on.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
All interactions or conversations we have ever had on Slack channels are stored and searchable for future referencing. This is beautiful from an operational perspective as we can easily recall conversations we have had about past projects handled in my department, some even as far back as before I joined the company. This reliable level of information retention is what has endeared me personally to Slack.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have sometimes struggled with information overload when making use of Slack. This is a result of the active nature of channels that I am part of and of course the non-stop nature of Slack's notification from these channels.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For professionals seeking organized , and secured group communication and collaboration within the workspace, I think it is difficult to look further than Slack.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Through Slack Connect, I am able to connect with collaborators outside of my organisation securely and in confidentiality. This has reduced the exposure of myself and my team to spam attacks or phishing attacks through email communication.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Slack is simple to use and maintains a smooth experience across web , mobile and desktop application. Navigation is also smooth and the security of data shared on the Slack platform is secured.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Been using Slack for the better part of the last five years. I have only ever had a positive experience using this program for collaborative purposes at my former and current company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
In this era of remote communication and teams communicating virtually, Slack has truly stood out.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Apart from communication , Slack allows for minor automation of tasks and day to day processes through its workflow builder feature. This enables my team work faster, and enhances our productivity at work.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The versatility and ease of use, appeals to me most. I can engage with colleagues on Slack through texting , file sharing , audio or video communication ( hurdles ).. Discussions on Slack are very organised too, a result of the CHANNEL feature, that allows discussions be organised based on topics, projects etc
What do you dislike most about this product?
I struggle to manage my notifications on Slack. A lot of the time , I have been overwhelmed by the amount of notifications I get on my Slack app. The notifications have sometimes been a source of distraction and most importantly, I have in the past, missed out on critical messages because they were lost in the midst of tens of other notifications. Slacks needs to come up with customisation options, that will enable me better manage my notifications.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
By consolidating files and messages in one platform,I am of the opinion that Slack helps to streamline communication.
