What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

The fact that Slack has it all and it makes the work-messaging/file sharing and collaborating super easy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Apps&Intergrations, I can bring my own zaps into the app and decrease the time needed for manual/small tasks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Notifications, Sometimes I miss messages due to the notifications going straight to my phone instead of my pc.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Team collaboration and proportionate communication within our work zone is very important to us, and is something where Slack is too good, for good communication. One of the things that differentiates Slack, from other collaboration platforms, is that Slack allows any process to be carried out using commands with the "#" sign, you can delete channels, add new channels, eject members, add new members, limit the amount of members for each channel, and many other things that simplify the use of the platform and streamline the channel management process.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the things I like the most in relation to Slack is that the messaging of all the channels works in real time, this has achieved that each of the messages can be sent or received instantly by each of the members of each communication channel. In addition, this real-time operation also applies to the sending of attachments within each channel. Another thing I like is that Slack has a perfect integration with the Box Storage service, which helps me a lot to be able to export or import any file that we handle within our Slack network, and thus be able to streamline the work process within my work zone.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Currently, I have only noticed one negative factor in the operation of Slack, and it is related to its application for mobile devices. It is not so negative and it does not affect the performance of the user so much, but I consider that it is a factor that can be improved. The problem with the Slack application is that it takes a long time to upload files to share them within communication channels, or sometimes the files cannot be successfully uploaded, and it is not because of connectivity problems, but rather that the application has an extremely slow process to send files within this communication network. I hope this can be improved.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation for any person or work area that is considering this product is that they take advantage of obtaining one of the best platforms for communication of work teams. Slack will provide them with a perfect team collaboration and they will be able to do all kinds of group work and work planning with perfect end-to-end communication. In addition, Slack is very easy to use, with the methodology of using commands, the general use of the platform is greatly simplified. I consider that Slack is appropriate for any company that has a deficiency in the communication of work teams, Slack does its job very well.

Slack represents aspects such as: ease of use, efficient team communication and improvement of workflows thanks to its levels of transparency.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like Slack for allowing the following: Instant messaging, document sharing / preview, theme customization, mobile app, individual and group chat options, private or public channel. You can add as many workspaces as per requirements and each workspace will have users and channels created where you can put the message, document, emoji. Integration support of various applications. Integrate Rollbar to give you live information on errors in productions. Google applications can also be integrated for easy preview of Word documents. Group call option and shared screen with group or individual.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is unfortunate, and it causes annoyance when you are not at your work site and receive a number of notifications in your application.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend this software is an excellent tool for communication and sending messages, images and videos, it offers the virtue of independent or private conversations that are very easy to use.
