What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Whenever I'm invited to join a network, one of my first questions is "do you use Slack?". It's an important question because Slack was built from the ground up for collaboration, and that is the primary function of any network.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Slack uses a concept called channels. Every channel is independent, and you can click directly through from one to another. That makes it super simple not only to join in with a conversation happening on one project or product I'm following, but on every project or product without needing to leave the platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When I first used it, it took a while to understand the navigation, but that was quite a few years ago. Nowadays it comes with helper cards no matter where you are. I can't see anyone having any trouble using it these days.
