It's free for our small company!

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

I think what differentiates Slack from similar products is that it works on both Mac and PC, Android and iOS. We have both operating systems across our print shop, so this is essential for us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of how Slack works is that we can do instant messaging in channels, and we can do instant messages directly. We can also create mini-conferences where 3 or more staff are in the same instant message room.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think what I dislike most about Slack is it is not very good for document collaboration. You can upload files and send them, but there is no form of document versioning. This would be useful as a print shop, so we could see the changes or history of files.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are a small company like ours, it is free to use Slack so you should sign up and set it up for your company and see how it goes for you. That's what we did and now it is an essential service which stops us shouting across the office!

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

There are a lot of things to like about Slack, but my favorite aspect is the ability to easily create and join channels. This makes it easy to keep track of conversations and to quickly find the information I need.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are a few things I dislike about Slack. First, it can be a little overwhelming with all of the messages and notifications. Second, it can be difficult to find older messages and files. Finally, it can be challenging to keep track of all of the different channels.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Some people find Slack helpful for staying organized and communicating with team members. It can be a great way to keep track of conversations and files. However, others find it to be overwhelming and chaotic. It really depends on the individual and the team.
