What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Collaboration lies at the cornerstone of the Slack software . Its functionalities and interface are built to foster seamless communication and teamwork across organizations. With features like Slack Huddle, clips , channels and workflow builder, I and my teammates are provided with a variety of communication options, all from the Slack app.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
For me , it is the ability to be able to create small communities and groups within a large organization on the Slack platform, using the Channel feature. Basically within my organization , we have a Slack channel for everything one can think of - Projects, small teams, departments, summer vacations etc The ability to do the above , contributes to organized communication across my company , while making it easy for past conversations to be tracked.
What do you dislike most about this product?
My experience when I use Slack on desktop and on computer web browser is always seamless. However, my experience on mobile devices has not been a smooth one. I struggle to load threads on my mobile device since the last update and there are occasions when I send messages and the 'message sending ' icon continues loading for long minutes, only for me to check on my desktop and realize the message was sent immediately .
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend Slack for intending teams and work groups seeking a new way to seamlessly communicate.
