Don't slack on your records
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack is much better than other chat counterparts, mainly driven by the ability to search. If you've ever tried to search for something in Outlook, Teams, etc. you know the struggle of irrelevant posts, messages, and files flooding your search results. Slack is the top-tier for searching all of your companies information and communication. This not only saves me massive amounts of time, I also don't spend time asking teammates questions that I can easily answer myself.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
If it wasn't clear, the searching capabilities blow all other competitors away. The ability to be able to pull up conversations from even before I started gives me context and knowledge that is invaluable. Not having to rely on other teammates to correctly pull information and data saves us hours of back and forth communication.
What do you dislike most about this product?
N/A. Everything from the ease of teammate communication, to collaboration with teammates is immensely better with this product. I couldn't imagine a workplace without Slack after using it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're looking to drive down your risk re: data, files, communications, this is the product for you. You're not going to lose data with Slack, and you're going to have your records where you need them. This is the premium product for team communication and data archival.
