The essential tool for team's communication
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack is just five steps ahead compared to competitors - they are very focused on user experience and therefore offers communication tools to so many more levels than just a chat.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
within Slack, I can choose my favorite way of communicating: with a huddle (quick phone call 1:1, but possible to extend to more users) or rather writing, sharing a quick video message, making a poll in a channel or a notes taken during a call... it's incredible how many layers of communication are possible within this one product.
What do you dislike most about this product?
the product has so many possibilities which makes it a bit counterintuitive. It definutely needs an on-boarding time, also to the frequent new features.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Slack is a crucial tool for communication in your team, do not go without it. I can remember the few times Slack has been down (maybe 2 since I started using it in 2018) and my team was just unable to work further.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Unique Features
