What differentiates ShakeSpeare Software Suite from other similar products?
Ease of process designing enabled by BPM Configurator, even in the case of very complex workflows. Document templates from which documents are automatically generated with filled in metadata from process instance, is common feature but here is enhanced by possibility to add different calculations between data, and data formatting like tables for example. Integration with web services on some action of process is accomplished using specific ready to use plugin that need only to be parameterized with few parameters. All rules for manipulation with metadata on process are added as a different plugins that are easy configured. No programming skills required for that purpose. Integration with OCR software is important thing to mention, along with other RPA functionalities like email processing (data import), automatic document export from processes etc.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like flexibility of forming rule for lobby calculation. Lobby is queue where users get processes that need their attention (some activity). In that way only users that really need to do action on process will have it in lobby, not all the people from department.
What do you dislike most about this product?
GUI can be improved, but it has been constantly changing in a good direction. DMS part of the software should have more features. Administration Manuals need to be better, with much more configuration examples.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If he wants fast deployment of business processes that manipulate with documents, and there is a team that can iterate through process (changing process design) until full satisfaction, this is a right product. Involvement of process owners during all iterations is very important.
