I have many things I like but first, I like the security features. The software is easy to use Backing up and recovering files is easy

Rubrik CDM is more than we expected and no complaints

I recommend Rubrik CDM for backup and recovery because it's affordable, secure, reliable, and scalable

What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

Using the API increases functionality significantly. The Rubrik cluster was straightforward to set up. Entering important deployment information in the CLI, such as IP, VLAN, Username/Password, and so on, and installing the newest version of CDM, were all part of the bootstrapping process. A fantastic product. From the standpoint of a system administrator with limited backup experience.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's simple to use and works similarly to an Apple Time Machine backup in that you can browse for files and mount them almost instantaneously. It was simple to set up. There were a few minor snags throughout the deployment, but they were primarily due to site-specific issues; Rubrik's deployment and setup process were simple, easy, and quick. When you need it to be easy, it is, giving you several degrees of control.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Even though they said it was agentless for VMs, we had to install the agent on VM machines with huge backup files. Salespeople can be aggressive. Backup jobs must be changed when new discs or databases are introduced to the server. The user interface and process are simple to grasp. Most IT workers will have little trouble getting about.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Please get in touch with the support staff before purchasing the system for your team because the search tool failed to produce valuable results. If this isn't the case, the intranet can be used with this system in most cases. Gather information on your present system's implementation technique to make the process go more smoothly.

What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

I really like how the Rubrik product is constantly evolving to meet customer needs while also unlocking new potential for analyzing the large data sets that are collected as part of the standard back strategy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Rubrik has always been excellent when I've used it; it makes backups simple again, and we can almost set and forget it. It makes no difference if someone creates a new VM because it can be automatically targeted by policies to ensure it is backed up and our RPOs and RTOs are met. It took me longer to rack the device than to configure it and take my first backup.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Every update introduces a bug that renders the system unusable. Maintain a more thorough stress test to ensure that nothing breaks that is already working. We will be able to reduce our reliance on managed service providers while also reducing the administrative workload.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's the best backup and recovery tool available in the market. Our data protection operations have been simplified by using SLA-based policy automation. We are no longer scheduling backups or attempting to determine availability or time slots for system backups if it also matches your business requirements then grab it.
