What differentiates Ramp Expense Management from other similar products?

Ramp allows us to issue virtual corporate cards to any employee at any time, with clear spending limits and restrictions in place. It's all the control we could possibly want for our startup. Additionally, their ability to run approvals, upload receipts/memos easily across email and the platform make it better than its competitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Issuing corporate cards with limits and restrictions

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the single sign on doesn't work as quickly as expected

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take the time up front to set up user permissions and move everything over - it might take more time initially but will benefit you down the road

What differentiates Ramp Expense Management from other similar products?

The text interface to submit receipts, and the software identifying expense categories really makes the process faster and smoother. Often I get a notification to submit the receipt before I’ve left the store, which dramatically increases the likelihood of capturing and retaining. Additionally, being able to create an individualized credit card number protects the whole accounts from over spending or fraud. Like check dams to manage the funds levels.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The text interface for immediate receipt tracking is the best.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I usually have to clean up some spending accounts or categories which is easy to overlook when a lot of expenses come through. An easier interface to toggle funds on or off would be good.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Plan to manage it regularly and check for the details where funds get confused. But overall it’s an easy multi layer, system that has good security features built in.
