What differentiates Qualys VMDR from other similar products?
Qualys strong features in the security has made me believe in qualys. There are other competitors who has good monitoring tools on web but the amount of attention to detail, customer support, and client policies only qualys has been close to bridge the gap. For example: risk based prioritization, patching, vulnerabilities scanning are very key things to take care of in an enterprise network.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Mine is the Audit ready report, it is mapped to 100+ mandates to get compliance friendly report I can choose which policy to use before implementing For example: my organisation prefer GDPR rules and I can choose this option along with other option to pick Also, TruLens is my favourite: the reason is it shows trending risks across industries and help me identify my threats where it lines across different organisations
What do you dislike most about this product?
Agentic AI, not dislike but I'm sure it will take away human jobs with inbuilt fully automatic capabilities. Earlier, a cybersecurity researcher is looking into the activities such as threat identify, vulnerability scanning, patching etc But this full agentic AI will close the human touch! I'm not against 100% but I have my concerns.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I need more demo trial period. When I signed up I really like the products But, 30 days would be little for my use! However, I am up for taking a subscription at the earliest because I need total security and be with assured cyber security leader in terms of business and connections.
