Postman has a user-frendly interface and powerful features for automation, collaboration, and testing. It has advanced scripting, mock servers, API monitoring, and environment management all in one platform, and it makes it easy to both technical and non-technical users to get started quickly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The collections and environments features are two of the best things about this program. They make it easy to organize, automate, and reuse tests. When you add pre-request scripts and test assertion to postman, it becomes a full testing platform, Working together in shared workspaces also makes teams alot more efficient.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When working with big collections or complicated environments, postman can use a lot of resources. Somestimes, there are sync delays in team workspaces. Most features are easy to use, but some advanced scripting and automation features take some time to learn.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Postman is the best tool for working on APIs, testing them, and working together. Start with small groups and work your way up to things like monitors and mock servers. To avoid hardcoding values, use environment variables. Also, use the documentation and community support that is available. The paid plans have a great collaboration tools that make it worth upgrading for teams,
