A great incident response management tool

What differentiates PagerDuty Platform from other similar products?

We use PagerDuty as an on-call alert solution. By using PagerDuty, we can meet our response time requirements. To be informed about incoming sales opportunities and messages sent to the company's sales/information email.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that in case of application failures or infrastructure problems, we notify the staff on duty through PagerDuty. Manage the on-call list and receive security alerts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The complexity is present. Despite the platform's abundance of features, new users may encounter a learning curve. Developing your full potential may take some time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would be very disappointed if PagerDuty went down at the same time as our overlapping outage. Fortunately, we haven't noticed any downtime with PagerDuty and even if it did happen, it didn't affect us.

What differentiates PagerDuty Platform from other similar products?

PagerDuty makes it easy to contact the person on call by phone or text, and we especially enjoyed the ability to set a timer to know when and for how long notifications should be sent.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We not only use PagerDuty to automate many tasks, but also implement existing monitoring. Some groups implemented PagerDuty primarily to generate and notify operations groups about application and infrastructure-related issues.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The ability to easily create issues in Jira with all relevant details would be a huge improvement with a better connection to Atlassian products.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consolidating and monitoring concerns saves a lot of time and gives us a clear view of related situations.

What differentiates PagerDuty Platform from other similar products?

PagerDuty allows us to contact all team members. PagerDuty assures us that everything will be fine with our project. Plus, it's mobile-friendly, which is a big plus. It is effective in its role as an incident management system. Plus, it's pretty reliable. Additionally, it is quite simple to integrate and implement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This app is great for incident management because it helps send alerts to the right people in real-time, it is easy to deploy and use, and the customer support team is available 24 hours a day.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Despite the great app and all its capabilities, the user interface is a bit disappointing. This can be used in any situation.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Incident response is the intended use of this SaaS-based technology. Crisis management is really working on this. We also have seamless integration with Jira and Slack. You can quickly adjust the settings to suit your needs.
