What differentiates OutSystems from other similar products?

Powerful. We have not found any limitations to what we can build with Outsystems.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A pleasure to develop with. Outsystems allows you to put together an application framework very quickly, and then begin concentrating on adding in the specific functionality. In short, iterative development at a micro scale.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I would like to see integration with work tracking tools like Azure DevOps/Jira, etc. so that my team can closely couple changes they are making to work tracking, rather than the swivel-chair approach of working in two systems.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do not be concerned about the limited number of trained developers available for Outsystems in the marketplace. A developer with .NET experience can become quite proficient with Outsystems within a couple weeks.

Builds web based solutions

The training, it is more of a marketing video then showing me how to use the software.

Hire an third party trainer
