What differentiates Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise from other similar products?

We use most of the Oracle Products. We understand oracle and we have a long, fruitful realationship with them. Oracle Data Integrator fits well with our technology footprint. As we are a big consumer of Oracle products, we got favorable deal from them.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There are some readily available API's to integrate with common tools. Though there is scope to increase the number of API's this is a good start and good initiative in a positive direction. Logic can be added in the tool on data transformations. Data can be massaged and checked for accuracy, these prevent

What do you dislike most about this product?

The API library needs to be expanded and scaled up.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Oracle Data Integrator is a great product. It is available on the cloud too.Most companies are implementing it or have already implemented it. Data files to different systems can be sent and received with ease. Interface errors can be reduced and maintenance costs can be brought down drastically using this tool.I strongly recommend this tool.

Works fast with multi users, data is reliable, has a history of recent reports.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Vendor master information side and creating payment control group side are the best as they can show you a helicopter view of everything that you needed to see.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If your company have sub companies or entities by countries, it is difficult to change between them, you need to log out and login every time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have fast paced company and unsure of this product, I would highly recommend this as this product is very easy to master and it is windows based so anyone who is good with windows can be an expert in a very short time.
