An amazing application for online courses.

What differentiates Open edX from other similar products?

edX is a useful gizmo to hone skills. I usually use it to learn programming features, how information structures are enforced in varied programming languages, and the way to wrangle and analyze data. The courses are without cost; however, for a small cost a certificate is available. I actually have learned to write down my own Python scripts and perform data analysis. It’s a user friendly interface and therefore the courses are from high universities. Overall a good tool if you’re always attempting to learn new tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its simple use is impressive, from the start you’ll know the complete structure of the course and its learning resources. As a student, the appliance is extremely intuitive, and it records all my progress. The simplest factor is that the app has total synchronization with the online version, therefore I can continue my courses from anywhere, each on my computer, and on my mobile device. The videos and tests load in no time within the mobile version and with such responsive design.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The sole disadvantage is that some activities, like the so-called “word cloud” cannot be executed within a similar app (from an iPhone), however, the remainder of them work without problems.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A wonderful site, to search out support material with a good tutorial level, to start within the study and data of a subject of interest or novelty, either through courses or specializations in several topics, such as languages, social sciences, and alternative technologies.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
  • Effective Service

What differentiates Open edX from other similar products?

The platform features a very good search engine that caters to everyone’ requirements. Thousands of institutions provide courses in robotics, languages, culture, history, project management, sensible cities, and massive data, to say a few. It’ straightforward to travel there and explore from any location. As a result, taking classes on-line is both pleasurable and advantageous. As a student it’s a really easy platform and with the navigation menu you usually know how to advance and return the course topics, the simplest has been the subtitles of the videos that permit you to better understand the message.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Thanks to EDX, I’ve learned plenty regarding project management, economics, and sustainable development. The categories demonstrated how some companies try to create the world a much better place by utilizing energy and conserving cash and resources. Furthermore, the project management classes assisted me in organizing my calendar and launching a brand new business. This LMS platform has been very intuitive, it permits uploading very diverse multimedia system resources, from images, videos, podcasts and a few scorm files to generate very engaging courses.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The one factor we needed from OpenEdX that it couldn’t offer was integration with the discourse discussion platform. Most of the accessible courses aren’t free. The price of a certificate is excessive. To promote communication, personal chat sessions with the mentor should even be available. As an administrator it is a touch difficult to configure it on a virtual server, however, when understanding the quality parameters and everything else it is very simple to continue configuring.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need an open supply platform but with nice technical support, you’ll use this option since it’s a basic application equivalent to LMS and STUDIO, but this can be complemented by specialized modules to cover all the mandatory ones in the creation of multimedia system courses and updated.
