What differentiates One Identity Privileged Management from other similar products?
One Identity Privileged Management provides a higher level of security that is essential for critical applications related to highly confidential projects and data. Through its various features, such as credential vaults and screen recordings, it can prevent unauthorised or non-privileged access to entire applications or to certain modules of applications, as required.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the reliability, knowing that the information I am working with is secure. I do not have to worry too much about compliance, as every access is automatically recorded. Moreover, it is very straightforward to use, and with the just-in-time feature, I can temporarily obtain a higher level of access, as per my need, without having to wait for approvals.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes, overly restrictive security measures hinder productivity and cause frustration. There isn't a seamless integration with all the IT tools that we might use in our work, which leads to restrictions and unnecessary delays.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend considering this product only if it is essential. Otherwise, Multi-factor Authentication and a strong password can provide a strong level of security on their own. For projects and organisations dealing with highly sensitive data, one can definitely go for this product, which would provide the flexibility to adjust the security measures based on different needs.
Pros
- Security Protects
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Unique Features
