What differentiates OnBoard from other similar products?
I can't answer what differentiates it from similar products because I don't know of any others. However, using OnBoard is much easier than using a combination of mail, calendars, documents and storage sites. OnBoard puts everything in one place for ease of use. My favorite feature is Minutes. They can be created from the agenda (LOVE THIS!) or from a new document. As you are taking minutes, there are buttons to help you format ... and the best feature ... the Motion button. This button inserts the template for a motion and when you start typing the name of the person who motioned, OnBoard autopopulates the rest of the name from your roster.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In addition to the Minutes button, I love the approval features. You can use them for digital approval of minutes, signatures and more. The Skills tracking feature and terms feature are also very helpful.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is no "undo" button, so if you accidentally delete something, it is gone forever.. Also, when notifications are sent, it does not CC the sender, so I'm always wondering whether the notification actually went out to the Board. Also, it would be nice if it had an integration with Google.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I highly recommend this product. I'm guessing it is even better for users of Microsoft--it's not integrated with Google at this time. But, still simplies the process of creating agendas, sharing information, approvals and archiving. It is much easier to stay organized and maintain an up-to-date roster using OnBoard. You won't regret signing up with OnBoard.

This system is easy to use and doesn't have many quirky issues.

usability for end users.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I can't say that there is anything that I dislike about this product. It's easy to use for the administration side and the end user. No complaints.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We do not use the system for as much as it can be used. We use this system to send out our board packets to our board members and to vote on loan packages and other items between meetings. Our board is older and has a hard time using the systems sometimes, but they can easily navigate this system.

What differentiates OnBoard from other similar products?
Their customer service and communication throughout the process has been second to none. Their initial assistance on the sales side carried over into the implementation and support side. Impressed by those factors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How absolutely robust with features, yet simple to administrate and make changes. The platform offers pretty much every aspect we were looking for in terms of Board management and collaboration, yet the interface is easy enough for a non-I.T. employee to administrate it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing so far has been an issue or showstopper. Thus far the platform as performed and functioned exactly as we expected it to.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Review and demo several other platforms so you have a true apples to apples comparision. Having done that ourselves, between pricing, support, and features OnBoard was our hands down favorite and we do not regret that decision in the least.
