What differentiates Okta Identity Cloud from other similar products?
Okta was built specifically as a cloud‑first IAM platform, unlike some competitors that are legacy on‑premises products adapted for the cloud.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like that Okta doesn’t just rely on a password, but it adds an extra layer of security with push notifications, SMS codes, or authenticator apps. It makes me feel confident that even if someone got my password, they still wouldn’t get in. The best part is that Okta is smart about it. I don’t always need MFA if I’m on a trusted device or connection.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While it’s not a dealbreaker, it can be slightly interruptive in fast-paced workflows, especially when I want quick access to an app.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Okta is a perfect choice for organizations wanting a secure, scalable, and modern identity solution, especially if you value centralized access management.
