Useful tool for online collaboration
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
Huge amount of templates to start work with.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I usually struggle with figuring out, how to organise information on my whiteboard, Miro templates make it easier. I also like how easy it is to insert images and links/ website snippets in it. Another thing, solutions for online collaborating, like voting, bringing everyone to me, timer - that helps me during online workshops a lot. You can hide or lock some parts of your whiteboard, which also comes handy during workshops.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It doesn't always agree with Safari/iOS. Especially with bigger whiteboards, you can expect everything to disappear, and then you have to close the website, open it again, open your board and continue working. There's a character number limit in textbooks, which is sometimes not enough for me. I'd also appreciate some text editing options on sticky notes, right now it's two font types and automatically adjusted size, I'd like to decide the size myself, and maybe be able to bold a word or two sometimes. I had high hopes regarding digitalising tradition paper pos-it notes (written in Polish), but it was a disaster.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try it for online workshops, brainstorming ideas, mood boards and collaborative work.
Pros
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Reliable
- Efficient Service

Absolutely essential for remote teams! Amazing!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
Miro is so fully featured and versatile that I barely know where to begin. There's pretty much nothing that I would have used a real-life whiteboard for that I haven't been able to do with Miro. I'd even go so far as to say that even when I return to the office, I'll probably continue to favour Miro over an actual physical whiteboard.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's so easy to use and is perfect for remote teams. It really has saved us and enabled (even enhanced) productivity during the pandemic. For those of us who think visually, Miro makes collaboration and keeping track of notes, brainstorming/ideation sessions, so much easier and productive. I couldn't do with out it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Honestly, nothing. Miro is easily my favourite tool.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's free to try and I would highly recommend giving it a shot, especially if you work in a remote team or collaborate remotely with 3rd parties.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
