What differentiates Miro from other similar products?

We needed to hold a large number of online seminars throughout our business to stimulate brainstorming and discovered that the standard tools were lacking, we did not acquire any results since the participants were not engaged. We then shifted to using Miro to administer the workshop, which resulted in greater data collecting and engagement. Miro is being used to solve collaborative, communicative and cooperative team difficulties, at Miro we are more productive as a team when we share and discuss ideas and concerns.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy how you offer a place for everyone to collect their opinions and suggestions. Using post-it notes to illustrate distinct parts or identify different persons on the board is an effective method. Miro is a gorgeous design with many creative potential. He can make a PowerPoint-style presentation or something far more aesthetically attractive, the sticky note option enables for virtual engagement, which is not available with other technologies. I appreciate how you can make it more or less interesting based on the participants' digital skills; even less secure PCs can utilize the sticky note function.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When I try to move objects about on the board, it sometimes takes up a lot of things that I don't want it to pick up. It would be beneficial to add a notice or page that lists some of the shortcuts. Some aspects might use small enhancements, which I would welcome. For instance I'd like to see the names of the invited participants written on the whiteboard.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Miro is an excellent tool for swiftly and successfully interacting, communicating and coordinating with your team. To get the most out of it, we discovered that we needed to send out how-to instructions ahead of time and add icebreakers to assist people understand how to utilize the features, after a few attempts it gets fairly flowing.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product

What differentiates Miro from other similar products?

miro differs from other programs because of the large number of functions it has, it is also a program that has good customer support.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite element of the concept is the idea of working together. I've been using Miro for the last year and a half and have had nothing but positive things to say about it. It was a great way for my team to communicate and exchange ideas, criticism, and more. It is in Miro that we have our annual retrospective meetings. It's got a theme, and the whole staff is enthused! When seen in retrospect, it's unusual for a sprint to have a retro as the favorite meeting. Miro helped us a lot with this one, so it's not something you see every day.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I hate nothing about Miro. I think its use should be clear. Not every meeting requires a collaborative board. Use it well so others may benefit from it. Everything in Miro? Lock it! Or save it as a PDF. Presentations? Ensure participants can view slides for online calls. Overusing it kills its enchantment and benefits. I've seen folks become angry because they MUST utilize Miro without the correct aim, and I've "converted" several "disbelievers" by pointing that we must use the best tool for that time, not every moment. I trust Miro. Always!

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try it out and see how it goes for you. Miro Academy is a fantastic school! Be inventive. Take care not to misuse this technique. Engage.
