Best Whiteboarding and Collaboration Tool
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
I believe Miro's ease of use is a big selling point, it's just so easy to quickly jump into a session live with other coworkers. Even for people who have never used the tool, I've seen them join a session in less than a minute and understand how to use it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Miro makes it easy to whiteboard over the internet. Back in 2021, everyone in my office was working from home due to COVID restrictions, and we were looking for tools to help us collaborate online. Miro was the best tool we've found so far. We use it for brainstorming sessions, design review sessions, product interviews, and more. This tool has a lot of functionality the more I dig into it. It can be as straightforward or as complex as you want. It's effortless to join a new Miro session and start working together right away.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't like how it forces us to walk through the tool every time we start a new session. Lately, whenever I join a Miro session, there's a host of popups and unskippable walk through guides I must look at before I can start using the product. I am not sure what triggers these, but they can be annoying and get in the way of quickly dropping quickly into a white boarding session.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Train all your staff / employees on the tool at the same time and use it frequently. If you are a work from home company this tool is a must have.

Incredible platform to collaborate and think.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
We're working on cross-functional collaboration and creative thinking. Miro is our go-to tool for getting some "hands on" work whenever we have a huge new project or are preparing a new quarter. We enjoy holding group brainstorming sessions and using the sticky notes tool to organize our ideas into different categories. It's also wonderful for team bonding activities and imaginative methods to learn new facts about your teammates that you would not have known otherwise.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Miro cooperation features are fantastic. Miro distinguishes himself from the competition by his ability to construct boards and grant access to others. Miro is the only software I've tested that smoothly blends an easy whiteboard/mind map interface with live collaborative features. I like how you can see all of the people on one board and what they're contributing. It streamlines the collaborative process, when brainstorming a new strategy or project, or different procedures and needs for a project, my favorite part is using sticky notes and other creative materials to categorize different kinds of concepts.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When there are too many individuals on the board at once, or even at various periods, it can get overwhelming. Miro's primary concern is cost. While they do provide a free tier, it is quite limited. I'm hoping that the scale will result in lower costs. Third-party plugins might also create issues at times. While this isn't completely Miro responsibility, I believe that improved documentation and development assistance would help to minimize these occasional difficulties.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend Miro to others since it is beneficial for planning and cooperation in all companies and teams. The software is useful for a variety of purposes, including quarterly planning sessions to ensure that everyone is on the same page with your team's intentions for the quarter. Assess your needs and users to decide what level you will most likely require. Utilize the free tier as much as possible to assist consumers in becoming acquainted with the features and interface. Examine the many templates to get you started.
