What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
Power BI is a great tool for data analysis, it stands out for its ease of use, its ability to support different database sources, its simplicity to interpret the data displayed, it also integrates with other platforms such as SharePoint and Dynamics 365, likewise and not least it has rigorous accessibility controls and its cost is affordable.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
- Easy to use and implement. - Allows simultaneous management of data and information from multiple platforms. - Can integrate well with other Microsoft products. - Report distribution. - Excel friendly formula and transforming data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We have noticed on several occasions that its performance is slow when handling large data sources which implies long waiting times in the process.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Microsoft Power BI is a very powerful tool for data analysis and useful for business environments as more and more data is collected and have the need to sort and process them, with its use companies have greater control over everything, they can analyze their performance in detail, optimize their productivity and boost their profitability.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
I love the way Power BI is able to show the data in user friendly way. Easy to use, cheaper than others, lots of functions and services. We use it in our project for metric analysis of IOT in ECE. WE can Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) Data using Power BI Desktop. It's well integrated with other Microsoft tools also
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Cost, Familiarity and given that is is a free offer within the MS Offfice 365 or M365 platform, it leads to an easy choice. Power BI is easy and simple to use even for inexperienced users while Tableau is ideal for analysts and experienced users.You can also integrate your own analytics with help of R and python
What do you dislike most about this product?
Power BI gets to hang a lot while working with huge data. It gets stuck when we try to connect with huge excel data or even database. Which Tableau performs better than powerBI
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Think of the use case you are working with. If you are a light user and need to work with lot of features and real time analystics use POWER BI else plan for Tableau
