"Excellent data visualisation software"

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
It's doesn't require any prior coding knowledge. It's less time consuming than using Excel. It's simple to create powerful and sophisticated reports, and it works with practically any data source that differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has an incredible amount of visualisation possibilities. Excel spreadsheets have some basic charts and diagrams, but Power BI has over 30 visualisations, and the greatest part is that a developer can create their own bespoke visualisations. The data modelling capability is a godsend for us analysts who mostly work with unstructured data. We have to utilise lookups in typical data analysis tools like excel to create a flat table of several tables holding data. We employ relational data models in Microsoft Power BI and leverage relations to connect data from multiple tables.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The data refresh feature has some delay. The data refresh is an important part of the Power BI visualisation process. The data refresh suffers from occasional performance issues when numerous data sources are linked to feed the power query. To thrive at this tool, a person must have prior understanding of databases and relational algebra.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
After giving it a try, you'll find yourself embracing it as a solution for your company, a strong and useful tool to put to work for your company and its employees.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
