Perfect Project & Task Management Tool

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Planner from other similar products?

The advantages we have encountered include the capacity to keep up with the work, the supporting details of given duties, an email ping, or altering the task of teammates. This keeps the crew on the job and on time. Microsoft Planner is a wonderful tool for maximizing task involvement. Microsoft Planner allows project users to evaluate graphically the progress of their projects, the individuals involved in particular activities, and the time limits to beat.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I think it is wonderful because everything is in one place, all you have to do and the steps you can take to achieve the objective of even uploading papers and tagging other employees in the organization. It provides a framework for tasks creation and scheduled tasks assignment. The program features a memory email function and a simple dashboard. Connectivity with the MS suite is a huge benefit - and they appear to grow it at a decent speed - especially for teamwork, power automats, and sharing points.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In this technology, there are certain core features lacking. The planner offers several features from Wrike, separating Microsoft's clients. Moreover, non-team members cannot engage in this software. In this Planner, there are also limitations on word-for-task inputs. I'd love to have a little planner training resource. There would have been an adequate modest active teaching platform.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure this interacts with your business, business essentials, or business accounts of Office 365. Otherwise, it won't function. Microsoft Planner is indeed suitable for you if you are in project planning and evaluation that lack so much complexity and intricacy. The main feature is the integration with another MS program. There are different applications, however, the one account is very straightforward to access. That's why I highly recommend using Microsoft Planner for your business and make your business task & project management easier.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity

What differentiates Microsoft Planner from other similar products?

Boards Content-rich cards Assignees, due dates, and comments Event scheduling Project planning File management Performance reports Labels Task tracking Office 365 integration

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It’s easy to get started with the tool. The user interface is simple and the experience in using the product is intuitive. I didn’t even have to go through their docs to understand how their product works. You can quickly view all the tasks everyone is working across Boards (or Plans, as Microsoft calls them). This is particularly helpful to see if your teammate is overloaded with work. You can view tasks and set their due dates using the in-built calendar feature. It’s known as the “Schedule” view.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As a project management and collaboration tool, it’s surprising to see that there is no way to mention a teammate in a comment and share files and documents in the conversation. You’ll receive too many emails if your team begins to actively use the software. Lack of detailed reports such as burndown chart, burn up, and cumulative flow diagrams.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Since it is part of the Office 365 suite of products, you’ll end up paying for plenty of tools you’ll not be using.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

Software for managing a big construction project.

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Planner from other similar products?

Microsoft Project in engineering, especially in construction management, is not only for managing the time and the project itself. It also best for a big construction firm to have a daily basis of their progress. To know the efficiency of individual contractors inside the project if you're the project manager. The software may help you understand each group of workers' behavior based on their project and based on your personal judgment on their work.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft support itself is a great factor in buying or subscribing to their yearly subscription. Their cloud-based software which you can easily collaborate with other departments or other contractor is a great advantage to the company. Weekly progress based on the software can produce an assumption that will drive you to a conclusion on how skilled is your workers that have been assigned to a particular area.

What do you dislike most about this product?

To be honest, I've nothing at all bad to state about this software. Being in the enterprise, our only concern will be the pace of examining and updating the program with characteristics that improve the general performance.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Check the Microsoft project website to have an overview of the product and check what plan is best fit for your own purpose of use.
