What differentiates Microsoft Azure Automation from other similar products?

Microsoft Azure Automation provides cloud-based automation services like Process Automation, change tracking and inventory, update management and many more. Using Process Automation service users automate the manual, long-running, error-prone, and frequently repeated tasks. Using the change tracking and inventory service users can track virtual machines, servers, software. Using update management services users get information regarding an update for the operating system's version on a machine if an update shouldn't be installed on a machine so the user can schedule an update using these service.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft Azure Automation uses a highly scalable and reliable workflow execution engine to simplify cloud management. This product saves time and increases the reliability of regular administrative tasks and also schedule a task to be automatically performed at regular intervals. Users can create Runbook in Author PowerShell, Python2. These runbook perform some automated process like starting a virtual machine and creating a log entry in Azure Automation. After creating an automation in the azure portal this product provides several resources like tutorial Runbook, tutorial script Runbook, tutorialpython2 Runbook.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since I have used Microsoft Azure Automation never face any issues. This product provides the best features and reliable service to users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Are you looking for software that automates your frequently repeated task across external systems? I recommend you to go with Microsoft Azure Automation. You can integrate Azure Automation with many services like website, cloud services, virtual machine. After the automation account is created this product provides very useful resources for you. You can create your own runbooks from scratch or you can modify runbook from the runbook gallery as per requirement.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Automation from other similar products?

The interface involved in the programming is minimal and hence it is easy to use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is a well-streamlined platform for automating the azure management tasks. It helps in proper system maintenance and regular updates.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Improvement in customization is recommended. Else I personally don't see any drawbacks in Azure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would definitely recommend Microsoft Azure Automation for all medium of organizations where it can help you increase your efficiency and thereby reduce the overall cost involved.
