What differentiates Kubernetes (K8s) from other similar products?

Kubernetes are very good at managing and orchestrating containers. It automates containerized applications deployment, scaling, and management, making it easier to handle complex container-based architectures.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In addition to all the benefits of scaling, HA, infrastructure abstraction, etc., using Kubernetes helps us increase developer productivity by providing a scalable, extensible container orchestration platform that developers can easily design, iterate, and deploy as a self-service.

What do you dislike most about this product?

My dislikes for this product include the fact that there is a learning curve for users to get used to, the intricacy of the networking, and how frequently changes that are not backwards compatible destroy things.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Kubernetes is a suitable option if the application requires quick scaling, is already built on a microservices architecture, does not have a predictable traffic pattern, and the majority of the workforce already possesses the necessary skills.

There is no other tool that runs cointainer orchestration like K8s which is invaluable for scaling applications

The performance of the resulting product deployed on K8s is amazing

It can be wildly expensive

Use it if your project necessitates using kubernetes. It's not always necessary and may be over-engineering, but if it is needed, it's irreplaceable
