What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira is just intuitive to work with, due to its easy to navigate interface . The quality of analytics it provides me around projects I manage is fantastic and just different from some other PM software I have had experience with. The most important part for me , is that Jira is built with Kanban and Scrum boards, making them very ideal for scrum and agile approach to software project management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love Jira analytical reports. They provide me with the real time data I require, to effectively measure key performance metrics on software projects I manage for my company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Except when integrated with a communication / collaboration software such as Slack, Jira is by itself inadequate for project management based, collaboration and communication.

Snipping sprints and assigning tasks allows visibility and prioritization that facilitates a shared team culture. Another favorite is Jira’s powerful reporting and analytics features. The platform offers visualizations of project performance in the form of burndown diagrams, velocity charts and team workload charts. These reports provide managers with analytics so that they can make better choices and utilize the most resources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A downside to Jira is its steep learning curve. Users who are new to it may need help digesting all the customization and intricate navigation options that can hinder adoption and efficiency. A more graphical interface and tutorials would solve this issue well. Another area for improvement is how the tool works in big-scale organizations.
