Great tool for Task tracking and status reporting.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

JIRA makes it very easy to track all my assigned tasks and is great for collaboration across teams.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Task Status updates, reporting and notifications.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Very CPU intensive. Takes forever to load on slow network connections.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for it, no other competitor comes even close.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

In previous employment, I've had to manually pursue the various stakeholders while dealing with projects/issues through series upon series of email chains. Jira has made it so much easier, allowing a clear pathway of team collaboration across issues. It's easy to tag other stakeholders, to share throughout the organisation and to have clear management of expectations and a pathway to delivery. It's great overall, it makes my work so much easier and more efficient.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really enjoy how easy it is to use across teams and across different offices and countries within my business. To simply be able to tag relevant, who then also receive email notification of updates is fantastic. I like being able to immediately direct issues and projects to the required teams and the nature of full visibility that the process entails. I like receiving email notification when there are updates to my tickets. I like being able to share the link to tickets with my colleagues. I like being able to edit comments. I like the clarity of the workflow and the order of prioritisation. It's a great platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Only minor issues - the process of adding external links to tickets is cumbersome compared to other platforms that I use; the process of sharing files to tickets is also fairly cumbersome; and the wording of the workflow can be a little tricky to understand.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend this product strongly, it is very well-designed to encourage collaborative cross-team work on projects and it makes my life so much easier.
