What differentiates InvGate Service Management from other similar products?
Features, usability, the fact that you don't have to have someone in IT manage and maintain everything - these are all huge wins. The support staff is great to work with and takes your suggestions to heart, and will implement great ideas.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the iterativeness of the product and the passion that the company maintains around its vision of the product. It is such an easy tool to adopt and roll out; watching it grow and evolve year over year makes it easy to choose this tool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I think 'dislike' is not the right term - the thing I would like to see next is more functionality, or perhaps an integration with SharePoint or even an online SOP resource like Hudu for Agents.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Put this in your list of applications to review, and be sure to talk to actual users, we love it!

Does what we need and more. Building APIs not fun

What differentiates InvGate Service Management from other similar products?
It was extremely easy for end users to adopt and is robust enough to replace and maintain critical business processes.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the workflows and the APIs most. I don't like building APIs but, the capability has been important to bridge any gaps and help me get it working just how we need it to.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be difficult to work through customizations. For example, I may build a new custom field to replace an old one> When asking support to show me how to migrate data between an old field and a new one, this gets to be difficult. It can take a long time to overcome unique situations like this.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Work with a developer to help with API connections across the systems. It is worth the effort once you get it in place.
