The UI can be better, and more intuitive.

If you're hosting long meetings, webinars, or need recordings, go for Google Workspace.

What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
This maybe the mainstream answer but really, Google Meet has the best data integration capabilities for users subscribed to business. I remember today one member in my work group asking how would we cope with some translations from a previous meet if Google Meet had not introduced the captions for all recorded meetings.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love Meet's ability to understand that a user has muted and therefore stops them from continuing to talk through a well-thought notification. I also really like their whiteboard's capability especially for Heads of Departments who usually head meetings and need immediate feedback.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I dislike the fact that no way the presenter or owner of the meeting would know when an urgent message or issue has been raised in a meeting. They always have to instinctively come back to meet to read arising issues or allow hands raised to speak.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You could use basic for all your personal needs. But for a business, use the business option it is awesomely good.
