It is very convenient for users who are already using Google's services like Calendar, Gmail and Drive. Starting or joining a meeting can be done smoothly from these platforms. It has high-class security features like advanced encryption and access controls, essential for enterprise-level data protection. Scalability is a key differentiator, supporting large meetings with up to 1,000 participants and live streaming to vast audiences.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's hugely convenient to schedule meetings directly from Google Calendar, automatically generating Meet links and sending invitations. Being able to easily share files from Drive during a meeting, collaborate on Docs in real-time, and even have meeting recordings automatically saved to Drive simplifies my workflow to a large extent. The fact that participants can easily join from their Gmail or Calendar invites, regardless of whether they have a Google account, also simplifies the process and makes collaboration much smoother. It just feels like a cohesive and efficient experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I really don't like is even with decent bandwidth, occasional glitches, dropped calls and audio/video hiccups can disrupt the flow of meetings, especially with larger groups or during screen sharing. The live captioning accuracy, particularly with technical jargon or accents, are sometimes less than ideal, requiring participants to double-check the transcript for accuracy.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If someone is already familiar with Google Workspace ecosystem then Google Meet Enterprise is a no-brainer. Beyond that, the robust security features and administrative controls offer peace of mind, especially for larger organizations handling sensitive information. The scalability is impressive, handling large meetings and webinars with ease. Features like noise cancellation and live captions are genuinely helpful for improving meeting quality and accessibility.
