Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect – inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate and stay organised. Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Google Classroom from other similar products?

For starters, Classroom is totally free. That's nice. It's also seamless in integrating course work, linking to a online gradebooks, etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to create different topics to organize the class, the ability to restrict who can post and comment within a classroom, and the ease of assigning work (and also being able to make unique copies of documents for all students at a click)

What do you dislike most about this product?

It isn't very customizable. It also isn't great for group work--you cannot have multiple students teamed together for an assignment, so if they are working together, inevitably only one of them can REALLY turn it in. Also, some sort of integration with a plagiarism/AI checking software feels immensely needed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jump in. If you aren't tech savvy, there's loads of trainings available for use, but if you're happy to explore for yourself, you'll see that there's so much that can be done with Classroom.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
  • Helps Innovate
  • Performance Enhancing
