Best in class product for Endpoint Data security
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
This Forcepoint endpoint DLP has Granular Data Fingerprinting, Customizable DLP Policies, Data Discovery Across Cloud Services, Detection of Hidden Data and Integration with Forcepoint Security Fabric to achieve hybrid workforce as well.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of this products are customizable DLP policies and the data discovery. that too will only initiate the scan when the system is idle and will not initiate the scan if the CPU utilization goes 50 above. The Forensics are very clear and accurate with the original attachment in place.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Their on-premises DLP architecture is distributed, whereas other vendors offer a single granular platform. However, Forcepoint's endpoint DLP modules, such as the endpoint server, crawler, and OCR, require dedicated servers for deployment. Additionally, to achieve data security for roaming users, it is necessary to deploy an additional server called the Supplement server.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Evaluate your needs and consider the advantage ,most importantly explore the needs

Smart unified DLP protection.

What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
A lot of DLP tools generate too many alerts, and end up chasing false positives. It does a better job of prioritizing incidents based on risk so i can focus on what actually matters instead of everything.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It actually looks at how users interact with data and adjusts its response based on risk. So instead of blocking everything and frustrating users it can warn them ask for justification or only step in when something truly risky happens.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I feel the interface could be more user friendly. It has all the features but navigating and managing policies isn’t always straight forward.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Focus on good data classification and avoid enabling everything at once. Also train users and balance security with performance to get the best results.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
Cons
- Less Effective Service

What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
It doesn't treat data protection as a bunch of isolated point solution. It unifies policy management and enforcement across endpoint, networks, cloud apps, email and web from a single console.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The combination of deep content awareness with behavioral risk context that reducing false positive and making data protection feel less like a blunt instrument and more like a thoughtful adaptive system.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are lot of policy options, classification setting, risk thresholds and integration points. For teams that are new to DLP or don't have a dedicated specialist the volume of configuration options can feel overwhelming.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start in monitoring mode invest time in training and policy tuning and roll it out gradually if you're willing to put in the setup effort you'll get powerful, adaptive data protection with fewer false positives.
