What differentiates FigJam from other similar products?

We’re a brand new Product team, operating absolutely remotely and were given the flexibility to choose a platform for collaboration and communication. FigJam is right for conferences and group action sessions. I relish the timing, dot voting, sticky notes, uploading photographs, and so on. Seeing what participants do in real time makes it a lot of easier to facilitate sessions remotely. FigJam is my go-to selection for brainstorming and analysis sessions. The time page layout, the coordination, the smooth feeling throughout presentations where all info are in one interactive page.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The downsides are pretty few, the one huge factor is that there’ is no offline functionality. It additionally doesn’t work nicely for us on mobile (but that may be more down to the sizes of boards that we typically use).

What differentiates FigJam from other similar products?

The whole interface is very simple but powerful. All the important options are there (great job with defining MVP scope)! The lowest panel with tools is extraordinarily user-friendly. Due to the restricted variety of choices to settle on from (and hierarchy) it’ very easy to search out precisely what you need. All interactions work as expected. The dotted grid is thus beautiful, and so are the tiny interaction details. It’s so fast, a lot of faster.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The arbitrary way of tagging info by using stickers, emotes, stamps is a good way to feature completely different dimensions to feedback, voting, and different activities. Animated indicator responses will facilitate icebreakers – there’s potential for use. Additionally, authorship indication for sticky notes is a nice QoL feature for recall, summary, etcetera.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no way to quickly find your notes when zoomed out. Therefore, it takes effort to induce round the board. Lack of map when rescaling canvas, that isn’t optimum for larger, more elaborate boards. There’s a small input lag for the tool when reactivating it with the spacebar (after the first release and press it again). Load time is slower for the first canvas initialization compared to subsequent ones. The color choice for sticky notes isn’t too intuitive (before laying them on the canvas). The drawing tool has palette choices after selection, whereas sticky notes do not.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Give this product a chance, it is so promising that it will make you addicted. This software have also a bundle of features that are extremely well and are so helpful. I recommended it. Love the stickers with avatars! Fun. FigJam is even additional informal than Miro with all the stickers and parts it’s like it’ an ideal tool to "break the ice“ and create the workshops additional fun and enjoyable.
