What differentiates Duo Security from other similar products?
A dependable and practical tool for enabling security and protecting sensitive consumer data is Cisco Duo. One advantage of Cisco Duo is its user-friendly two-factor authentication. It's simple to use, and when I visit the app to confirm my identity, I get push notifications on both my smartphone and smart watch. At work, I utilise Cisco Duo on a daily basis. I had no trouble downloading the free software or login in using Cisco Duo, which was also quite easy to set up. It works fine for me, therefore I don't need to contact customer service or assistance. I'm thrilled that I submitted the application.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Setting up was easy, and connecting to my company's VPN almost instantly authenticates you. The push notification approval method is my preference because it just needs me to tap a button on my phone. It offers cloud-based, AD-integrated SAML SSO and virtual appliance alternatives to secure even custom interfaces, and it integrates with a wide range of other off-the-shelf solutions. We used Duo to secure our VMware Horizon desktop environment; it was easy to set up and deploy, and I appreciate how easy it is to establish a connection with Active Directory. What do you dislike most about this product?
Although it may deliver push alerts more quickly, it is devoid of aspects that should worry a reputable person or company, like the ability for unauthorised users to repeatedly type the incorrect push. The limited functionality of DUO security is what bothers me; in an emergency, this would be a big problem since we wouldn't be able to use the programme if we lost our internet connection. I wish it had an alternative authentication option.
