What differentiates Domo from other similar products?

Domo, unlike its competitors that rely mainly on IT or analysts, emphasizes usability for non-technical users. Its features, such as drag-and-drop dashboards, natural language queries, and smart templates, make its functioning easy for us. The real-time data visualization supports real-time data streams, setting it apart from others.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It offers a responsive and functional mobile experience on the go. I can easily go through sales metrics regularly from my phone. The granular permission system is very secure as it ensures that the data is visible only to the right people. It allows us to control and give access to data according to our wants. Furthermore, I can easily customize views with the help of charts and page-level filters.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial onboarding of Domo is challenging, especially if we are not familiar with its functioning before. Report-building sometimes demands a deep understanding of data modules or query logic. The charting options need to be more flexible and visually customizable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Determine your priority to make it best compatible for your use. Make sure it integrates well with your data sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, data lakes, APIs, or third-party platforms.
