What differentiates Datto RMM from other similar products?
The cost is the biggest factor when it comes to any school district. I have been very happy with the cost, and the fact that the software works when I need it to. We have used it for a multitude of reasons, and it is a better solution than any I have used in the past. I have been working in technology for over 30 years and I would say this is in the top of my list for software that met both my needs and my budget.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The price for education users can't be stressed enough. The fact that it "just works" when I need it means the world to me. I don't need to be staring at a parent, principal, or administrator and explaining that what we needed from the software isn't there. It has not failed me yet.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would love to see more training available, and new features being rolled out. I am one of those folks that gravitates toward software that is constantly evolving with new features. That is the only thing I have not seen out of this software, but I am hoping the new ownership will place more importance on constantly improving the product for loyal customers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Just go ahead and purchase it. You won't be disappointed, and it truly is set it and forget it. The first time you have to use it, I would suggest reading through the documentation. Any hiccup will likely be caused by something you accidentally did.
