Fast, Scalable, and Secure Data Analytics Platform
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?
According to me what I like about Databricks is that it brings data engineering, machine learning, and analytics together in one platform. It can deal with really large datasets without slowing down, while still letting you adapt it to different kinds of work. Additionally, it connects smoothly with other tools and cloud services, so you can get full insights without having to switch between a bunch of systems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best thing I really like about Databricks is that it puts data engineering, machine learning, and analytics all in one place. It saves me a lot of effort since I don’t have to keep switching between different tools, and it works well even with huge datasets while still giving me the flexibility to use it for different types of projects.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Getting Databricks up and running can be a bit tricky at first, especially if you’re new to it. On top of that, the costs aren’t always easy to figure out once your workloads start growing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Highly recommended from my end if you are prioritizing towards a tool which brings everything of your data needs under one roof while ensuring strong security at the same time.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

Powerful platform for big data work
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?
What sets Databricks apart is how well it brings data engineering and machine learning together in one place. Instead of juggling separate tools for storage, processing, and model development, everything runs smoothly within a single environment. Features like Delta Lake and the collaborative notebooks make it much easier for teams to work on the same data without running into version issues or performance problems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite thing about Databricks is how quickly it can process large datasets. Even complicated transformations run fast, and the platform handles scaling automatically, so I don’t have to worry about managing servers or clusters manually. It makes big data work feel much more manageable.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The part I struggle with the most is the cost. It’s easy for expenses to climb if jobs aren’t optimized or if clusters run longer than expected. The interface can also feel overwhelming for new users, especially those without a strong technical background.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I’d recommend taking time to plan how you’ll manage compute and permissions from the start. Databricks is incredibly powerful, but you get the most out of it when you set clear job schedules, monitor usage, and train your team on basic optimization. If you handle those pieces early, the platform delivers a lot of value.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable

Reliable Platform
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?
Unlike traditional data warehouses, Databricks lets me combine structured and unstructured manufacturing data (like sensor logs, video, and images) in one place.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really appreciate that Databricks combines data engineering, analytics, and AI in one environment. This makes it easier for me to manage production data, monitor equipment performance, and apply predictive maintenance models without switching between tools.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When I first started using Databricks, the environment felt complex. Understanding Spark clusters, data orchestration, and notebook workflows required some training.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to new clients in manufacturing who are dealing with large, complex datasets — especially those pursuing smart factory initiatives or predictive maintenance.
