What differentiates Dassault ENOVIA from other similar products?

Easy to customize and build the lifecycle of product Capability to handle complex workflow and easy to implement business validation rules at various trigger point. Can be easily corrected data from the back end outside the business process.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Has very robust MBOM module to handle MBOMS of multiple plants. Has very good BOM component Alternate and substitute functionality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

DB lock occurs once in while which causes the all Background job to kill and restart the services. This causes IT to proactively monitor killed jobs and affected items and identify and correct their issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Have your Workflow and lifecycle blueprint ready Finalize your item attributes and their list of values to be loaded. Also the have your custom reports and their fields to reduce the development cost and time.
