What differentiates CorelDRAW from other similar products?
In my opinion CorelDraw fills two specific niches: one is the market of printing professionals, that can leverage CorelDraw features aimed at printing marketing and branding material, and the second one is the market of graphic designers who can't afford or don't want to use Adobe products. If you're looking for a replacement for Adobe software you might be disappointed, but if you focus on CorelDraw unique features, and vast training material, you can surely be satisfied.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I find CorelDraw much easier to use than the Adobe Suite. You can do simpler things with less clicks.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I've been a Draw user for many years. I haven't tested 2021 version, but in the previous versions I experienced some freezes and hiccups when dealing with complex files and projects. Compatibility with non native formats is not always guaranteed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend CorelDraw if you don't depend on the Adobe ecosystem. It's true that Corel improved compatibility a lot with each new version, but if you need to work with proprietary file formats, I would choose the native software of those formats. On the other hand, if you want a solid suite at a very competitive price, then give CorelDraw a try.
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service
- Caring
- Respectful
Cons
- Charges for Enhancements
