What differentiates ConnectWise Automate from other similar products?
Connectwise is the top dog for MSPs and Automate is well known by a lot. I personally love the UI, probably because I've known it forever now
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Creating automation scripts and patch management. There is so much it does
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes it can be a bit clunky and take awhile for things to load. I really don't like that the fat client(installed app) and the web version don't have the same features. For instance, in the web UI version they have a new AI tool to create scripting which is awesome but you can't utilize it in the fat client and the web UI doesn't have the ability to retire agents and some other things that the fat client has. I pretty much live in the fat client because it has more available.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I don't have any references to pricing myself but I hear it's expensive but I know if you can afford it that CW Automate is amazing. Their support has been pretty bad over the years though so I primarily rely on MSP Geek chats in discord/slack. If you are going to use Automate you must join that so others using it will be able to help you out.

What differentiates ConnectWise Automate from other similar products?
Connectwise Automate is able to offer way more features for a better price per agent. You can have different setups of the configuration, such as on premise environment or services as a service in the cloud. They have been around for a long time and their longevity is a great comfort.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Being able to script tasks that would otherwise take much longer to try and push. They have a great scripting schedule and are able to have third party apps now. The patching has made us much more secure and effective at keeping the agents protected.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The updates do not seem to be released to often and we were hoping they would update the on-premise interface. Engineers have a hard time learning and then using all the features of automate. The cases from support have gotten stagnate at times and we have had to push them to get a resolution.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Learn the best configuration settings before going live. Test with different setups if you can and see if they are producing what you are trying to achieve. Work with the connectwise support staff and take the courses in the university to get up to speed on using the product. Have your engineers pass some of the courses before you let them administrate it.

What differentiates ConnectWise Automate from other similar products?
It provides a shitload of capabilities to support system monitoring and upkeep. It's never been simpler to keep them informed, and it's really practical to be inclined to distance in and help folks anywhere they are. We really like the ticketing part of it. It enables us to run reports as needed to compare how much time certain technicians are spending with certain clients.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has good capabilities. When a customer calls, we truly like how quickly we can connect. It is quite promising. The notifications are very helpful and provide a clear record of a device's activities. Also, an alert is an exclusive occurrence or is it recurring and needs some preventative action to maintain my clients' systems operating at peak performance.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We have discovered that a small number of customers were incapable to access the agent, which is a drawback of connecting smart. We don't understand why. Additionally, connection-wise has experienced two outages in the previous few months, resulting in extended periods of downtime during which we were unable to assist clients, and connect-wise automation malfunctioned, preventing us from conducting remote sessions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The capabilities that Connectwise Automate gives are absolutely great. It is really good to be able to instantly patch hosts and endpoint equipment. The program's disclosure and data volume are absurdly large. I've been fortunate to showcase a majority of this data using PowerBI to demonstrate to our customers exactly how far we understand.
