What differentiates CISCO Internet of Things from other similar products?

The rugged edge devices handle dust, inconsistent power, and the lovely chaos that comes with airport infrastructure

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The edge data filtering keeps noise out of our analytics

What do you dislike most about this product?

Firmware updates can be slow in highly regulated network zones. I sometimes need to schedule them manually because automatic rollouts clash with local airport security policies

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Cisco IoT becomes far easier to secure when each device sits in a clearly isolated VLAN. Do this first or you will spend days in troubleshooting limbo
