What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

This tool has been a great help for our company and to be able to control the activities and progress of the tasks of our employees remotely. It is very easy to use, because we simply add the activities to be performed by our employees and the delivery time and they will report daily their progress and completion of the task, so we can know when I finish the assigned activity or if there is any delay.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It really makes remote work much easier. The option of placing a responsible for each task or activity, makes the team work hard to accomplish the tasks in the planned time. Work meetings are becoming less and less necessary, because in Basecamp we place the activities to be done, comments and suggestions and we can even attach files. We can also add in the to-do activity, the client, so he can see the progress of his work.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the customers do not adapt to the platform, because it is not very intuitive, which can generate a little delay in the activity, especially if the customer leaves messages in the wrong activities, which makes everyone must search activity by activity, the message left by the customer and redirect it to the correct task, to keep order. This tool only works online, so if at any time you do not have internet, you can not move forward with the tasks.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a very useful tool for remote team projects, which also allows us to add the client so that he can see the progress of his order without any problems. It is allowing the work to flow more easily, which benefits the company and its delivery times.

It is really easy to use software; with control of user permission it allows to manage our clients with the accessibility to see and control our data with our team members working simultaneously. It shows the notification of latest updates and keep admin update with every task performed with real time check-ins.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Internal communication availability is highly praise able feature of this software, which helps in simplifying the task to ensure the smooth process and make the working process streamlined. It provides the proper timeline to our sub-tasks to help us deliver the work on time and keep the proper tracks and evidences of requirements given to us by client.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does not offer to tag the member of team who should be responsible for changes and should also have priority level attribute. Sometimes its rigid structure makes the project more complex by not providing dependencies and relationships between the tasks.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a real time communication mean for team members, keep us all on same page by giving us ease to share files, reviews, calendaring and a chance to work on priority tasks and actionable items.

What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

Basecamp is a cloud storage application which maintains version controlling system. Users adding/removing files from the basecamp is notified and tracked on the application. Projects can be created and users can be given access.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We can see who and how many people have been provided access to a particular project. A projects dashboard has notice boards, schedules, documents and files section

What do you dislike most about this product?

Basecamp is a wonderful application. I do not dislike anything about it

For maintaining version control, this is best cloud storage application. You can. Go for it!
