What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

As part of Microsoft suite, it has been already integrated to all the other MS solutions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Nothing to desire, compared to most expensive tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Can do better with report capabilities

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use it as part of the Azure suite, and there is no need to buy anything else.

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

Me and my team like this because all in at one place. Granular security, branch policy, approvals which helps when multiple teams were involved. Smooth integration with Azure services, GitHub and Entra ID. Built in test planes and manual test cases, test runs and reporting.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Azure DevOps is the pipelines. Once the pipeline is setup, it runs continuously without a lot of manual work. I like how easy it is to automate build and deployments, I the fact that I can reuse a same YAML patterns across different projects. It saves me our time and release much more predictable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The part I most dislike is how tricky the pipeline troubleshooting can be. When a build fails, the logs are long and sometimes it takes too much time to figure out the real issue. The YAML files powerful, but small mistakes can break the whole pipeline, and the error message aren't always clear.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend staring with small and getting comfortable with the pipeline first. Once you sort-out the basic CI/CD setup everything becomes easier.
