ArcGIS is highly versatile and supports a wide range of data formats, including ESRI shapefiles, GeoTIFF, Images, CAD files, KML, Excel data files, and more. The software also provides a data conversion facility through its conversion toolset, making it easy to work with a range of data sources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The license version of ArcGIS is very expensive and it needs a considerable amount of memory and storage space to function properly.

Esri releases updates and new versions of ArcGIS on a regular basis. Make sure you stay up-to-date with these updates to take advantage of new features and capabilities.

ArcGIS Desktop applications help us facilitate geospatial analytics tasks effectively. We utilize spatial analysis, 3D analysis, interoperability and geostatistical analysis tools to collect, organize, standardize, and perform spatial modelling tasks on natural hazard assessment, subsurface geological assessment and groundwater modelling. The model builder and integrated python platform help to access various spatial tools and build sequential modelling to solve complex issues. Compared to other products, It provides stable, easy-to-use, intuitive tools to execute mapping and geoprocessing tasks.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

1. Supports various formats of spatial and tabular data, hence it gives flexibility in handling a wide variety of data and enables integration 2. User-friendly interface of the analytic tools gives a clear idea of the usage and guides the user to select the correct input data and require parameters. Detailed help manuals are linked to every tool for better understanding. 3. The recent ArcGIS Pro version contains numerous tools for raster analytics and facilitates state-of-art ML and deep learning algorithms for better prediction and data extraction from spatial imageries

What do you dislike most about this product?

1. Great features come with a cost. It is not free software, however, there are several licensing plans available to cater for the requirements 2. Recent desktop version (ArcGIS Pro) requires better hardware compatibility to run the tools smoothly. 3. It requires certain hands-on training and knowledge to get the most out of this software.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ArcGIS Desktop software is used for a variety of geospatial tasks that range from spatial data collection to analysis, So, users must know their domain of business to enable the correct extensions that require to perform their tasks, and it may require an additional licensing fee.
