Flexible Mobile Testing Across Platform

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

It does not force me into a new language or a rigid framework just to get started. I can write tests in the same languages I already use for backend or frontend work, which makes adoption much easier for engineering teams.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It let's me test mobile apps using the same programming languages I already know. I do not need to learn anything new or change how I work.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Test runs aren't always consistent, especially on real devices.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My main recommendations is to use it when you already have a solid automation or development background. It work best for teams that want one tool for both Android and iOS and are comfortable handling setup and maintenance themselves.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Trustworthy
  • Effective Service
  • Caring

Cons

  • Less Productive
