What is Ansys SpaceClaim?

SpaceClaim Engineer is a 3D Direct Modeling software which allows engineers to work with CAD data from any source, regardless of origin. SpaceClaim is used in a number of applications including concept modeling, bid modeling, 2D to 3D transition, manufacturing, reverse engineering, sheet metal manufacturing and model prep.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?

It is a complete 3D CAD tool containing all the required facilities. It also allows user to edit and modify imported geometry.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the easiness of using the product. It is more than simple to convert 2D drawing into a 3D object.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price is quite high and the functions are limited to a number.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Any academics who are working with CAD can try this software. It is easy and budget friendly.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?

It is more advanced than other products and has an excellent graphical user interface. It enables you to switch views quickly and easily. It is extremely useful for complex modeling.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What makes me use it is its simplicity. You can make a 3-D model with just few steps. Also, the assimply feature is very good.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I really hate when I have to wait for the application to launch, it takes forever

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a very good application that comes with Ansys, you should take advantage of that and dont waist money on other modeling applications.
